Abstract

"As thorough sampling is usually expensive, the cost of a complete job is often unwarranted, and a cheaper approximation must be substituted. The engineer should, however, weigh the situation thoroughly before subscribing to an alternative other than an accurate assay basis on which to build his conclusion." Examination and Valuation of Mineral Property. R. Parks, 1949
