Abstract
WHILE the beryllium -copper (2 pct Be) alloy is nominally nonmagnetic, the presence of iron impurity causes variations in the magnetic proper- ties which, at times, attain excessive proportions. This investigation was carried out to establish the effect of small amounts of iron on the susceptibility of the material and to determine if the effect could be minimized.
