Introduction THE Province of San Cristobal is situated on the south side of the island of Santo Domingo about 25 miles west of Santo Domingo city, the capital of the republic. The copper mineralization is found about 1.-CAMP BUCARO. THE TOP OF THE RIDGE IN THE BACKGROUND MARKS THE CONTACT OF THE LIMESTONE AND TUFFS. S miles north of the town of San Cristobal, in the section known as Bucaro Hill; in San Francisco Hill; on the Nigua River; and on the Jaina (Liver.
