Abstract

"THE ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT consists of six sections, all with their own supervisors, reporting to the superintendent of administration. Although each of these sections is uniquely separate, they all work together, in one department, to provide very necessary services.1. Accounting 2. Purchasing 3. Warehousing 4. Data Processing 5. Inventory Control6. Office ServicesThis department, which now numbers 108 people, had its birth in an office over a hardware store in downtown Timmins in 1964. Initially, only basic accounting and purchasing functions were performed and these, of course, were on a very small scale. The growth of the administration department is a function of the growth of the company."
