Abstract
Direct pressure leaching of zinc sulphide concentrates was started? commercially in October 1980. Continuing research and development studies at Sherritt and feasibility studies for a number of clients have defined various pressure leach configurations for integrattons with existing roast- 1 each operations and for grass roots plants. Existing and potential applications of zinc pressure leaching are discussed.
