Abstract

This report presents overview of the authors' results of thermodynamical investigation of some important metallurgical processes and phenomena. Among them: carbo thermal reduction of silica, and boron oxide, silicon carbide obtaining from different precursors, investigations on copper and manganese ores processing, investigations on pollution from different sources. Special attention is paid-to thermodynamical approach to investigation and estimation of multi component multi element compositions stability, developed by the authors.
