Abstract

Under humid conditions geochemical exploration for rare-metals is, at the reconnaissance level, usually carried out by stream sediment and soil sampling. As the secondary dispersion patterns are distinctly different in arid environ- ments, other exploration methods have to be applied (MATHEIS & KOSTER, 1985).
