Ca-containing gangue minerals such as Fluorite, Calcite have same surface activity point--calcium ions and approximate floatability with scheelite, it is difficult to achieve good dressing index of rough concentrate of scheelite. Mono-mineral experiments and ore tests indicate that, according to mineral composition, gangue minerals can be inhibited selectively by adopting suitable regulators, then the separation of scheelite from gangue minerals can be realized effectively. Mechanism analysis was taken by zeta potentials measurements and FTIR tests. Good dressing indexes are also obtained in practical ore tests and industrial tests. The extensive laboratory investigations were carried out in order to determinate behavior of sulphide and nonsulphide copper bearing particles during the flotation. The present ore sample were contained 0.55% Cu with 20.1% of nonsulphide copper in it and gangue material with higher contents of alumina about 19.07%. In this paper will be presented some results such as: effect of particle size, pH and applied collectors. The main goal was in application of collectors S-7518, as well as mixture of KEX and Z-96. Z-96 is a product from Chemical Industry Zupa Krusevac which was used as auxiliary collector in mixture with xanthates. The best results were done with this mixture in ratio KEX / Z-96 as 77/23 % in area of oxidized minerals flotation, but the collector S-7518 was achieved better results in sulphide mineral flotation. The S-7518 has better selectivity between copper minerals and pyrite comparing to mixture of KEX/Z-96 in mentioned optimal ratio. Flotation recovery and copper grade in concentrate were studied by flotation kinetics tests.

"The nature high carbon graphite with fine particle size has low commercial value because of its narrow application range. In order to improve its value, this paper has studied the methods for nature spherical graphite. The nature spherical graphite can be used as the battery material in the field of electronic product battery and new energy automobile battery, basis on the physicochemical characteristics and particle feature of graphite. In this research, the Fixed Carbon (FC) grade of the graphite sample is more than 95.0% and the particle size of the graphite sample is from +325 mesh to -100 mesh. There are many methods for nature spherical graphite, including the fluidized bed airflow mill, the hydro-spheroidization mill and micropowder mill. The testing results indicate that the method of ACM micropowder mill is the best because the spherical shaping ratio and production yield of spherical graphite are both the best.According to the testing results of the ACM micropowder mill, the best process includes two stages of coarse crushing, four stages of fine crushing and twelve stages of shaping. And two kinds of spherical graphite products can be got, which are the product of D50=22.85 µm and the product of D50=15.43µm, and the whole yield of them is up to 54.43%. So, it lays a foundation for the high value utilization of this kind of graphite resources.INTRODUCTION Graphite is isomer of the diamond. Graphite ore resources are mainly concentrated in China, Brazil, India, followed by Czech, Korea, Mexico, Canada and other countries. Graphite ore has lots of characteristics by itself crystal structure, such as good resistance to high temperature, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance, good lubricity, plasticity, chemical stability and so on. So, Graphite is widely used in metallurgy, machinery, electrical, chemical, petroleum, nuclear industry, defense industry and other areas. [1,2,3] Natural graphite ore has low geological Fixed Carbon (FC) grade. FC grade should be enriched to more than 94.0% by mineral processing. [1,2] The particle size composition of this high carbon graphite affects its application value. The part of +100 mesh particle size has high application value. The part of -100 mesh particle size has low value because of its limited application field. In order to improve the value of-100 mesh particle size, this part high carbon graphite can be made into spherical graphite. And the value of the spherical graphite is great, it is more than 8 times of the feed. This paper has lots of tests for spherical graphite preparing with the fine particle size natural high carbon graphite. And it lays a foundation for the high value of this kind of resource."

Nickel (Ni) plays a major role in the production of steel and other major alloys. There are two sources of Ni: laterite and sulphide ores. Global reserves of sulphide ores are being rapidly depleted, while there are enormous reserves of Ni laterite, much of it in Australia. As well as being present in huge amounts, Ni laterites have the advantage of containing cobalt (Co), a valuable mineral. Over the past decade, these factors have been driving the industry to explore the processing of Ni laterite. A route that has been used commercially in processing nickel laterite ore involves the thermal activation of the minerals by pre-reduction followed by ammoniacal leaching (Caron). Although this process has been effective in processing the goethite rich laterite minerals, the higher-grade serpentine-based minerals have been shown to be less susceptible to this process. This has been attributed to the formation of inert olivine phases. In this study, we examined the use of an alternative lixiviant, sulphuric acid, in leaching pre-reduced limonite and weathered saprolite nickel laterite ores. The specific aim of this study was to examine the sulphuric acid leaching of Ni and Co from pre-reduced laterite minerals, and to understand the role of mineral transformations in this metal dissolution. Synchrotron based X-ray diffraction was used to examine the transformation of goethite (FeOOH) to spinels and serpentine mineral ((Mg,Fe)3Si2O5(OH)4) to olivine. Reduction tests were carried out using CO and CO2 reducing gas mixtures and temperatures from 400 °C to 700 °C. The rate of formation and disappearance of specific Bragg peaks during reduction of specific minerals were used to derive an understanding of these solid-state reactions. Laboratory based reduction tests and leaching in sulphuric acid were used to validate the effect of these mineral transformations. The results suggest the versatility of sulphuric acid in leaching nickel from spinels and olivine, which was achieved at the expense of lower selectivity. Cobalt dissolution was found to be dependent on the nature of ferro-cobalt alloy formed during reduction.

"The focus of the study is finding a solution that can help to improve diamond recovery in diamond-bearing gravity concentrates upgrading flowsheets. The purpose of the study was to develop and prove scientifically a separation method of diamonds recovery from gravity concentrates regardless of their fluorescence ability induced by X-ray radiation. Two promising recovery methods applicable to diamonds of this type are proposed, i.e. an X-ray radiometric method based on an instantaneous analysis of a secondary X-ray spectrum of separated particles, and a triboelectric method that relies on noncontact measurements of particle charges obtained during its motion in a vibratory tray. As a part of the laboratory study, X-ray fluorescence spectra of the collection of diamond crystals and main associated minerals and rocks at a particle size of -6+3 mm were produced. The analysis of the produced secondary X-ray spectra showed a significant difference between crystals, minerals and rocks within the analytical area of Ca, Fe and Zr due to the absence of calcium, iron and zircon elements in diamonds. Additionally, the scattered X-radiation level of diamonds substantially increased under the influence of X-ray radiation. Such a difference is a physical base of a new method of diamonds recovery from mineral mixtures. The laboratory study on triboelectric characteristics showed that a significant portion of diamonds gained an electric charge of a magnitude that was much higher, compared to associated minerals and rocks. The laboratory and industrial tests and the separation indicators demonstrated a high efficiency. A proposed X-ray radiometric method provides recovery of all types of diamonds regardless of X-ray fluorescence levels, with high selectivity and recovery rate of at least 98%. This proposed separation method is protected by a patent of Russian Federation (No. 2551486, “A method of X-ray radiometric separation of diamond-bearing materials”). Triboelectric separation organized in two stages (main and control) ensures recovery of up to 98-100% of diamonds at a particle size -5+2 and -2+1 mm,. More than 10 triboelectric separators successfully operate in active diamond processing plants in the Russian Federation."

"The presence of calcium and magnesium in the hydrometallurgical processing of base metals, results in a number of process difficulties. These problems range from the contamination of the final product (where the final product is a precipitate) to high energy consumptions and large bleed streams during electrowinning. Calcium poses an additional problem in sulphate solutions owing to the low solubility of its sulphate salts. This can easily lead to a process stream that is supersaturated with calcium sulphate, resulting in unwanted solids formation within the process equipment.A review of literature has proven that there is no conventional method for the control of calcium and or magnesium, although a number of potential processes have been identified. The technologies investigated included precipitation, ion exchange and solvent extraction, for which at least one method was found under each. To make the reader aware of these processes a short description was provided of each within the text.Of these processes, fluoride precipitation was selected for experimental investigation based on the low solubility of calcium and magnesium compared to the base metals. This process involves the addition of a soluble fluoride to precipitate CaF2 and MgF2. The experiments were designed to investigate the equilibrium of the system at varying parameters of which the level of fluoride addition, the ratio of calcium to magnesium, and the identity of the soluble fluoride was reported. In all of the instances the process showed high selectivity towards calcium and magnesium over the base metals. The experiments proofed the process to have a higher affinity towards the removal of magnesium at compositions where the molar ratio of calcium to magnesium was higher than 1:3. It is often the case that the calcium to magnesium ratio is in the region of 1: 10. From this it follows that the fluoride addition has to be stoichiometric or greater for calcium and magnesium combined, if the calcium is to be precipitated. This was demonstrated as well. On the identity of the soluble fluoride hydrogen fluoride was compared to ammonium fluoride, of which the latter was found to be preferred."

"Air core, as an inevitable phenomenon of rotational flow field inside hydrocyclone, has a major impact on hydrocyclone’s separation characteristics. The air core formation process, its structural features and its influencing factors were investigated systematically in this paper. Numerical study on the air core of a f50 mm hydrocyclone was carried out using a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling software package ANSYS/Fluent with the selection of Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) for the turbulence model and Volume of Fluid (VOF) for capturing the air-liquid interface. Physical experiments were conducted under the same geometry and operation conditions and the particle image velocimetry (PIV) technology was used to measure the liquid flow. The CFD results are compared with the experimental measurement with good agreement demonstrated. The air core was formed generally at around 0.7 s, air outsides of the air core was eliminated completely after 1.7 s. The centreline axial velocities and the water blocking hydrocyclone simulations showed that air of the air core entered the hydrocyclone from the underflow area and exhausted from the overflow area, but there was also some air flowing into the air core from the overflow area. The largest swing of the air core occurred on the top of the underflow pipe, and a protuberance similar to the shape of Adam’s apple appeared when the air entered the vortex finder. CFD simulation results also showed that the air core diameter was decided by axial position and parameters of hydrocyclone. The structural parameters have more effects on the air core diameter than the operational parameters."

The comminution technology based on High-Pressure Grinding Rolls presses (HPGR) application is currently one of the most efficient methods of hard ore comminution from the scope of the energy consumption and the development of industrial HPGR applications in ore preparation circuits is presently the world trend. However, even though the technology is already in use in many countries, which are the leaders in application of modern mining technology, there is still lack of base investigations over the HPGR performance. Throughput and energetic models of HPGR performance are quite well developed, but technological models predicting the comminution effects still needs an in-depth research. In the paper authors present the method of modeling of HPGR products? particle size distribution with using of suitable mathematical models. A basis of the HPGR performance assessment and HPGR-based crushing circuits design is a product?s particle size distribution. In order to precisely determine the particle size distribution of a HPGR product, parameters of product?s particle size distributions should be conditional on the main technical parameters of the roller press like operating pressure and the speed of rolls. The most accurate approximation of a distribution of size particle d appeared the Weibull?s truncated distribution and it is possible to obtain significant relationships between the approximation formula and the value of operating pressure, or feed characteristics. It makes possible a determination of mass recoveries of the product?s respective size fractions and the productivity planning. Instead of pressure (P), the other HPGR operating parameters can be applied, but the P value appears to produce the most relevant relationship. "The use of PM40N, a specialty precious metals promoter in conjunction with a standard Xanthate based collector was extensively investigated in the flotation of a complex, silver-bearing, lead-zinc ore containing naturally occurring graphitic gangue. The ore, considered difficult to treat with conventional reagents, was tested at plant scale to determine the impact of the promoter on silver recovery, lead grade and also on the amount of zinc misplaced to the final lead concentrate.Initial laboratory-scale rougher flotation testing implied significant improvements in the recovery of silver and lead with a marginal amount of zinc displaced. Subsequent mini pilot flotation tests further revealed that a gain in selectivity and recovery could be achieved by adjusting PM40N promoter dosage and incorporating a cleaner flotation step, further improving rejection of sphalerite. Plant trials resulted in an improvement of 3% in Silver recovery coupled with a 2% increase in recovered lead whilst maintaining lead grade in the lead circuit.To date, the use of PM40N as a promoter has enabled the processing operation to significantly increase its plant economics. The partial replacement of the standard Xanthate based collector has also reduced the overall quantity of Xanthate required in the standard circuit by approximately 10% - which is a positive impact on the environment. It is envisaged that further optimization of plant parameters will favor stable operation and continue to boost revenues generated by subsequent improvements in silver metallurgy."

"The Russian Federation possesses large reserves of oxidized ferruginous quartzites. These ores are currently mined together with magnetite ores and are stockpiled on account of unavailability of an efficient processing technology. This paper presents the results of investigations performed on the ores from the largest oxidized ferruginous quartzite deposit located in the Kursk Region iron-ore basin of Russia. The objective is to produce concentrate with iron content at least 66% and silica content within 5%. A processing technology was, developed under laboratory conditions, which included ore preparation, wet magnetic separation in weak and strong fields and reverse cationic flotation with addition of caustic soda, dextrin and Lilaflot 811M (alkoxy propylamine) collector from Akzo Nobel. The developed technology produced iron recovery concentrate with iron content of nearly 67%, and that of silica - 4.1%, iron recovery into concentrate being 72.6%."

"The first experiments on the vacuum drying of spherical clay sample are presented and the theoretical model of the process is considered. The model is based on the solution of the heat and the moisture transfer equations with the effective thermal conductivity and water diffusion coefficients for wet porous clay-like medium. The time and radial dependence of the temperature and the moisture were calculated for different initial conditions. The results obtained for the time dependence of the moisture content are in good agreement with the experimental results obtained in the initial period, when all the moisture in the sample did not freeze to form an ice crust. INTRODUCTION Capillary-porous materials very often occur in nature and in industry. A porous medium is a solid matrix with voids, or pores, which are continuously connected. These pores are usually filled with fluids or moisture, water vapor and air that can pass through the medium because the voids are interconnected. The void fraction in the solid matrix is referred to as the porosity. Porosity or void fraction is a measure of the void (i.e. ""empty"") spaces in a material, and is a fraction of the volume of voids over the total volume. The moisture content in porous media determines the properties of the porous body, its mechanical and thermo-physical properties, such as density, plasticity, viscoelasticity, swelling, cracking, and so on. Complex processes of heat and mass transfer occur in porous bodies when they are heated or cooled, during drying or freezing (Luikov,1966). The course of these processes depends essentially on the physical-chemical composition of the solid matrix of the porous body, on its fractal dimension, porosity and morphology. The clay and clay minerals are the most important porous materials in the history of the mankind (Mukherjee, 2013). Clay is a very fine grained, unconsolidated rock matter, which is plastic when wet, but becomes hard and stony when heated. It has its origin in natural processes, mostly complex weathering, transported and deposited by sedimentation within geological periods. Clay is composed of silica {SiO2), Alumina (Al2O3) and water (H2O) plus appreciable concentrations of oxides of iron, alkali and alkaline earth, and contains groups of crystalline substances such as quartz, feldspar, and mica. Building materials, bricks, and tiles, pottery, porcelain and faience are made from clay. Clay is used in the food and medical industry, and, not least, in the mining industry as a carrier containing aluminum, silicon and other valuable elements, as well as metals (copper, gold) as constituents, contained in the pores in the form of micro- and nano-particles or grains."

The Bond and the Hardgrove methods are widely used for the determination of the material?s grindability. Generally, the determination of the Bond work index of inhomogeneous materials can be carried out with high deviation using the conventional apparatuses and methods, because of the highly different grindability of components. This is more significant when the composite cement?s grindability is measured, which highly affects the design and operation of cement grinding mills. A possible solution can be the combined application of the Bond-method with the determination of the component?s weight ratio in the product and perform the Bond measurement until the steady state conditions of grindability coefficient (G) and chemical composition of the components are reached. To prove the applicability of the above mentioned idea systematic Bond and Hardgrove grindability tests were carried out of two phase composite materials. The experimental results showed that the application of the combined procedure is proven in order to have a more accurate and reliable calculation of the Bond work index of composite materials, especially when the components have significant difference in the grindability and concentration. The measurements also showed the possibilities and limits of the grindability test methods.

We experimented with slurry which from one of coal preparation plant in Guizhou province and made researches on double hump gradation, one of critical factor of gradation technology, which can influence pulping character in the process of making coal water mixture (CWM). The purpose for it is to find the best particle gradation which can meet the requirements in concentration, viscosity, and stability for CWM. The final result is that the concentration, viscosity, stability of CWM can meet the requirement for industrial use while the rate of fine particle in the slurry is 70%~75% and the maximum concentration of 62%.

For its surface features, micro-sized hematite is usually difficult to recover by magnetic separation; especially, the existing high gradient magnetic separator in industry can not utilize collecting matrix with thin silky rods for its property of being easily blocked; the lower size limit for recovery of micro-sized weak magnetic minerals is about 0.019mm, some even is 0.037mm. This paper introduces the application of the combined new technique of water-air joint discharging of concentrate and collecting matrix with different diameter silky rods in the field of recovery of micro-sized hematite by high gradient magnetic separator. The commercial test result for recovery of a certain hematite with size about ?0.037mm shows that the recovery can be promoted by 16.81% with basically same concentrate grade.

Until recently, in consideration of fundamentals of gravity concentration theory, all computations have been based on determination of particles? fall velocity in an unrestricted medium (hydraulic size). Meanwhile, gravity separation processes are realized under conditions of particles? restricted fall, when important and sometimes decisive role is played by interacting forces of particles, dependent on their varying size, density and shape, i.e., segregation forces. We have developed devices and methods for measuring segregation velocities of fine particles of various size, density and shape during their loosening in air or aqueous medium. Besides, to exclude influence of medium upward flows, loosening was provided by superposition of vertical harmonic oscillations on measuring cell. It was established, that maximum segregation velocities are observed at certain optimal acceleration values and amplitudes of oscillations; excessive loosening leads to mixing and worsening of segregation. Velocity of some particles segregation through others depends on particles? size, density and shape, as well as nature of medium (air, water). Absolute segregation velocities of particles in air medium may reach 1~2 mm/s, in aqueous medium such velocities are by an order smaller. Analysis of rare-metal sands material gravity concentration results showed, that owing to segregation process during gravity separation, fine-size isometric particles of heavy minerals are recovered into gravity concentrates more actively, than larger ones, but more elongated in shape. It is convenient and simple to estimate mineral grains? shape by extent of their oblongness, described as ratio of particle minimal dimension to maximum. Besides, mineral mixtures gravity separation results are directly related to extent of oblongness of heavy particles, recovered in gravity separation process, and also to root-mean-square coefficient of their shape variation. The performed research showed that particles segregation in gravity concentration process plays not a lesser role, than hydrodynamics parameters, and demands further theoretical inquiry and experimental studies.

"The flotation separation of sulphides bulk concentrate containing Cu, Zn, Mo and Bi, which was obtained by both table-flotation of gross sand of gravity separation of wolframite and bulk flotation of wolframite slimes using butyl xanthate and oil No. 2, etc., has been conducted by using the cyanide process in the tungsten concentrator. The process has problems of high reagents consumption (25 tonne of cyanide dosage per year) and mineral processing cost (800~1000 RMB reagents cost per tonne of by-product concentrates), high mutual containing loss in the by-product concentrates and serious environmental pollution caused by lots of cyanide-containing wastewater. In order to solve this problem, a new cyanide-free separation technology is studied, which is used to process this sulphides bulk concentrate with 8.68% Cu, 8.98% Zn, 0.26% Mo, 1.58% Bi and 40.12% S. The results of the closed circuit test show that Cu, Zn, Mo and Bi can effectively be separated from this sulphide minerals concentrate by using the reasonable flotation-gravity flowsheet, high-efficiency collectors and regulators simultaneously. The metallurgical recovery and concentrate grade are as follows: molybdenum recovery is 94.63% with 50.62% Mo content; copper recovery is 85.18% with 29.29% Cu content; zinc recovery is 75.92% with 46.49% Zn content; total Bi recovery is 65.08% with 16.86% Bi content. The new technology is an alternative to the cyanide process due to its low cost for reagents, satisfying separation results and economic profits, and solves the problem of environmental pollution caused by the use of large quantities of cyanide. Some important parameters in separating the Cu-Zn-Mo-Bi sulphides concentrate are also introduced in this paper. This study provides pretty good technical support for separating the polymetallic sulphide ores containing Cu, Zn, Mo and Bi by cyanide-free technique."

"The Luiswishi deposit belongs to the Cu-Co deposits of the Southern Group of the Katangian Copper Belt and is operated by a joint venture between EGMF (Entreprises Générales Malta Forrest) and Gecamines (Générale des Carrières et des Mines). The Cu-Co ore is beneficiated by the sulphidization process at the NCK (New Concentrator of Kipushi) at Kipushi.Sulphidization followed by flotation with sulphydryl collectors is a common practice for the treatment of oxidized base metals ores. This process is complex and its application at the industrial scale is quite sensitive. In Central Africa it is also a cost intensive treatment as the sulphidizing agent has to be imported. In order to improve the metallurgical performances and to optimise the economics of the process, a laboratory research program was carried out by the Laboratory of Metallurgy and Mineral Processing (MTM) of the University of Liège in close collaboration with EGMF and Gecamines. This program included the study of various flotation reagents as dispersing, depressing and activating agents.This paper presents the results obtained with the use of ammonium sulphate as activator of the sulphidized xanthate flotation. Although ammonium sulphate has been mentioned in the literature as a promoting agent of the sulphidized xanthate flotation of malachite, its effects on the flotation of cobalt oxides was not known.The testworks were carried out on various oxidized siliceous ore types from the Luiswishi deposit. A 1.7 l Agitair laboratory flotation cell was used. NaHS and potassium amylxanthate were respectively choosen as sulphidizer and collector. A mixture of gasoil and tall oil (90/10) was used as secondary collector. A multistage sulphidization was realised. Values of pH were followed during the different tests and an ion selective electrode Ag/Ag2S was used to control the Es potentiel evolution during the stepwise addition of the sulphidizer."

At present, Russia is engaged in processing, 3new plants of hard-to-process potash ores with increased content (up to 10 - 12%) of insoluble impurities (insoluble residue ? I.R.). This required additional research to improve the process of potash ores flotation. Based on the study of the effect of dispersive properties of frother and its flow rate on the efficiency of aliphatic amines with different length of the hydrocarbon radical (as sylvite collector) there was showed the possibility to apply high molecular amine with length of hydrocarbon radical C20 ? C26 by normal temperature of circulated plant salt solution (saturated solution KCl ? NaCl ? H2O). There was designed and tested in plant conditions the modified amine collector with the length of the hydrocarbon radical C16 - C26, improving flotation of Sylvite under normal temperature of circulating salt solutions at potash flotation plants. There was made the study of the influence of the hydrocarbon radical length of alkylmorpholine on the Halite flotation from intermediate products of sylvite recleaner flotation with different content of I.R. (silicate-carbonate slimes), at normal and elevated temperature of salt solution. On the basis of the application of modified alkylmorpholine for Halite flotation, there was developed the process of further beneficiation for the intermediate products of sylvite recleaner flotation from potash ores with increased content of insoluble impurities, which can eliminate the circulation of the intermediate products in the process flow sheet of sylvinite ore processing and increase the KCl recovery into the finished product. "Gas dispersion properties of sodium salts of 6, 12 and 18-carbon fatty acids (hexanoic, lauric and oleic acid) were investigated as a function of pH. A strong effect of pH was observed on gas dispersion properties of fatty acids. At high pH for 12 and 18 carbon fatty acids, at which these surfactants formed a true solution, the gas dispersion properties were similar to those of MIBC. In the case of sodium hexanoate, which has a much higher solubility than the longer chain fatty acids and therefore does not form precipitates, the gas dispersion properties of this surfactant were strongly enhanced in the acidic pH range, where hexanoic acid was fully associated. This result is an indication that undissociated hexanoic acid is much more surface-active than anionic hexanoate. Only a small effect of the surfactant chain length on gas dispersion properties of the tested reagents was observed. The measured critical coalescence concentration (CCC95) values increase slightly by decreasing chain length and range from 5.8 x 10-5 mol/L (17.7 mg/L) for sodium oleate to 7.2 x 10-5 mol/L (16 mg/L) for sodium laurate at pH 10 and 1.9 x 10-4 mol/L (26 mg/L) for sodium hexanoate at pH 3.7. These are compared to CCC95 of MIBC, which is measured to be 8 x 10-5 mol/L (8 mg/L). The soluble molecular species were recognized as the most effective species in preventing bubble coalescence."

High Gradient Magnetic Separator with Horizontal Magnetic Line is a new type High Gradient Magnetic Separator product. It has many specific advantages, such as water-air joint discharging technique, double pulses pulp dispersion technique, multi-magnetic gradient for collecting matrix with different diameter rods, better discharging rate with the especial matrix dispose, high separating accuracy and wide applicability. In this paper, the author makes a description of High Gradient Magnetic Separator with Horizontal Magnetic Line, and puts its emphasis on analyzing industrial production data using high gradient magnetic separator with Horizontal Magnetic Line to separate weakly magnetic minerals. It is found that as the rougher for weakly magnetic minerals separation, High Gradient Magnetic Separator with Horizontal Magnetic Line has more stable metallurgical performance and cheaper running costs than other types of High Gradient Magnetic Separator when the properties of the ore change greatly and there is in the case of embedded fine particle size distribution.
