The strain softening relationship developed in part 1 is now applied to coal. Having determined the post-failure stress-strain curve for coal specimens, this information can then be used in a finite element program, such as Phase 2, to examine the post failure characteristics of coal pillars. Using example data, the strength of coal pillars of different width/height ratios are estimated and compared with well-known empirical pillar size-strength relationships. In addition, the post-failure stress-strain behaviour of a coal pillar is compared with an empirical relationship reported in the literature.

TWO years ago, at the annual meeting of this Society, the writer presented a paper dealing with various aspects of the water problems existing in the Cape Breton coal-mining area. Much of that paper was of a theoretical nature, in that an attempt was made to get at the fundamental principles underlying the problems, in order to establish a sort of background against which future results could be laid. Up to that time, only Central power plant in Glace Bay had been under observation, and, since the work had been in progress only a year, it was recognized that there were strong possibilities that certain variations in procedure might have to be introduced as w; became better acquainted with our problem. We were by no means certain that we had covered all the facts of the case. The present paper will therefore be of the nature of a progress report, rather than a formal contribution to the Society. Subjects of a theoretical or academic nature will be avoided as far as possible, attention being confined chiefly to the results obtained during the past two years. In looking over the work with low-pressure boilers, there are certain general conclusions that can apparently be safely drawn. Wherever possible, proper operating conditions will be expressed in terms of appropriate units. Absence of corrosion in boilers where the alkalinity has been maintained within the pH range 11.0 to 11.4 forces one to the conclusion that these are safe working limits. Previous experience had shown that corrosion would occur if the alkalinity were much reduced. Higher alkalinities are un-necessary, more expensive, and are said to introduce the possibility of pitting. We made no attempt to obtain quantitative data in respect to pitting. It is said to occur at pH 12.0. Consequently, conditions of alkalinity were main-tained well below this figure. In the above paragraph, the pH range 11.0 to 11.4 applies to boiler waters which have received the lime and soda treatment. The general practice, when this treatment is employed, is to use 1.0 lb. lime to 7.0 lb. washing soda. At Central power plant, soda-ash is at present substituted for washing soda, the equivalent proportions being kept the same. But not all the plants are on the lime and soda treatment. At Waterford Lake, a 1: 1 mixture of soda-ash and trisodium phosphate is satisfactorily employed, and in Sydney Mines and at No. 3 power plant in Sydney, good results are being obtained at a somewhat greater cost with a commercial phosphate treatment.

Fouling of activated carbon by different organic species is a great concern in carbon in pulp and carbon in leach circuits. The rate of gold adsorption onto activated carbon from synthetic gold solutions which contained different amounts of potassium ethyl xanthate (PEX), potassium isobutyl xanthate (PIBX), and methyl isobutyl carbinol (MIBC) were evaluated through batch adsorption tests. The results of these experiments showed that the gold sorption rate rapidly decreases by increasing the concentration of collectors including PIBX and PEX up to 20 mg/L and at higher concentrations, the kinetic rate constant (i.e., k value) gradually leveled off to 53 h-1 for PIBX, which is 46% lower than the 99 h-1 for PEX. At low concentrations of up to 15 mg/L of MIBC, a gradual decrease of the rate constant was observed, while at higher concentrations, the decrease was found to be more pronounced. The gold loading capacity and the rate of gold adsorption onto activated carbon from a gold cyanidation pulp in the presence of flotation reagents were also evaluated. The results of these experiments showed that the flotation reagents have no significant effect on the gold loading capacity of activated carbon at prolong adsorption period, meanwhile the rate of gold adsorption continuously decreases by increasing the concentration of flotation reagents in the leaching solution.

"A correlation has been established between the oxygen demand of Brunswick Mining and Smelting ore and flotation results at the bench, pilot plant and operating plant scale. A method of dete""1llining the aeration requirement of sulphide ores on the basis of this correlation is presented. It is shown that abraded iron from grinding media plays an important role in aeration and flotation. Laboratory grinding must therefore be conducted under controlled conditions with suitable grinding media in order to obtain the true aeration requirement of the ore.A method of evaluating aerator efficiency, also based on oxygen demand measurements, has been used successfully at Brunswick Mining to design pilot plant and full-scale aeration systems.1. IntroductionPre-flotation aeration of sulphide pulps has been practiced in the Noranda Group for many years to help in the depression of pyrite and pyrrhotite and to promote chalcopyrite and/or galena. Recently, two out of three parallel circuits at the Brunswick Mining and Smelting Corp. Ltd. concentrator have been converted on a test basis to a new flowsheet incorporating aeration as a basic step. Among other benefits, a substantial decrease in the middlings load has been achieved as a result of improved pyrite rejection. There has been increasing interest in other organizations in the potential advantages to be derived from' aeration in terms of improved metallurgy and/or decreased reagent consumption."

The hydrothermal Au-Pd deposits are hosted by the jacutinga in the Lake Superior-type iron-formation of the Itabira Group, Minas Supergroup. Jacutinga is a highly sheared, metamorphosed, hydrothermally altered iron-formation composed of hematite, magnetite, quartz, talc and phlogopite (Cauê) or muscovite (Conceição) and minor tourmaline, palladian gold, arsenopalladinite, mertierite II and palladeisite (hydrothermal) and native gold, native palladium Pd-Cu-oxides, and kaolinite (weathering products). The highest concentrations of Pd-Au occur in quartz and hematite veins parallel to the S1 foliation (Corpo Y, CorpoX, Aba Leste and Central orebodies, at Cauê and a single orebody at Conceição) or parallel to the S2 foliation (Aba Norte). The average ore grade is 30-40 g/t Au+Pd. The characteristics of the Au-Pd ore favor an epigenetic model for gold and palladium concentration in the iron-formation. During the D1 deformation and peak metamorphism, the oxiziding, acid and hot hydrothermal fluids transported Au and Pd preferentially as chloride complexes. The reaction of the fluid with the dolomitic carbonate (the probably protolith of the jacutinga) would have dissolved carbonate and K-feldspar to form muscovite or phlogopite and tourmaline, resulting in an increase in solution pH and a decrease of Cl concentration and subsequent deposition of gold and palladium minerals.

The waste slags from chemical and metallurgical plants contain approximately wt 1% water soluble Cr6+. This hexavalent chromium is very harmful to human health, and the treatment of the slags has concerned metallurgists for many years. A sintering method was developed to treat the waste slag. In this process, sinter was made from a mixture of the waste slag containing hexavalent chromium, iron concentrate and coke breezes. During sintering, hexavalent chromium was reduced to trivalent chromium. The latter is known as a non-harmful material and can be used as chromium resource for the production of ferrochromium or chromium-containing cast iron. After sintering the hexavalent chromium in the sinter could be reduced to less than 0.0008%. It was found that the waste slag with fine particles was favourable to the Cr6+ removal. An increase of carbon content in the sintering mixture could increase the rate of Cr6+ removal and the strength of the sinter produced. The rate of Cr6+ removal increased with increasing basicity of the sintering materials with basicity less than B=1.8, above which it decreased with increasing basicity. Blast furnace was found to operate smoothly when using the sinter made from the waste slag containing chromium. However the productivity of sintering machine was slightly low compared to the sintering operation using ordinary raw materials.

Antimony is commonly found in copper electrolytes and can contaminate the cathode deposit. Several methods, such as ion exchange, solvent extraction and precipitation, have been developed to remove antimony from copper electrolytes. However, past research has been carried out almost exclusively with Sb(III), whereas the presence and behavior of Sb(V) in the electrorefining circuit have been largely ignored. In this study, the behavior of Sb(V) species was monitored and compared to that of Sb(III) species, using specially developed analytical and SEM-EDS techniques. Significant differences in the behavior of the two species were noted. Although the solubility of Sb(III) increases with temperature in synthetic copper electrolytes, the solubility of Sb(V) appears to be constant over the range from 30 to 80°C. Whereas Sb(III) forms several crystalline oxy-sulphate compounds, Sb(V) appears to remain as an amorphous oxide. Both Sb(III) and Sb(V) are extracted by aminophosphonic resins, and Sb(III) is readily eluted by HC1 or complexing agents. By contrast, concentrated HC1 elutes Sb(V) inefficiently and complexing agents, such as EDTA and tartaric acid, do not elute Sb(V) to any significant extent. This observation implies that in industrial practice, unless special measures are taken, Sb(V) will accumulate on the resin, eventually impeding the ion exchange process.

"The binary Fe53Mo47 and ternary Fe54Mo30P16 coatings have been electrodeposited from citrate-based electrolyte on mild steel (MS) substrates. The electrodeposition has been conducted for 6 hours at 20 mA cm-2 and 30°C. The electrochemical tests were carried out in chlorate solutions containing 300 g L-1 NaCl and 4 g L-1 K2Cr2O7 at pH 6.4 and 80°C. A number of surface characterization techniques such as SEM-EDS, XRD and EMP were used to study the microstructure of the alloys. The electrocatalytic activity of these coatings was investigated using steady-state polarization and galvanostatic technique. This study revealed that the Fe-Mo-P coating could be considered as a promising cathode material for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The results showed an important decrease of hydrogen overpotential for Fe-Mo-P alloy as compared to that of Fe-Mo and especially MS which is a traditional cathode in chlorate industry. The HER overpotential for Fe54Mo30P16 at current density of 250 mA cm-2 was decreased by 30% in comparison to that of MS (1029 mV), and by 16.5% to that of Fe53Mo47 coating (857 mV).INTRODUCTIONSodium chlorate is used for manufacturing of several daily consumption products. This chemical is mainly employed for the production of chlorine dioxide (ClO2) that is a bleaching agent used in the pulp and paper industry. The ClO2 is also consumed for generation of perchlorates, chlorites and other chlorates, as an herbicide and in uranium processing (Cornell, 2002). "THE HARDY MINE of Falconbridge Nickel Mines Limited is located in Lot 9, Concession 1, Levack Township, Sudbury District, Ontario, 20 miles northwest of the city of Sudbury, and a mile west of the town of Levack. The ore deposit is one of the many nickel-copper sulphide bodies found on, or near, the lower contact of the well-known Sudbury norite-micropegmatite irruptive, and is one of a family of ore deposits which occur on the northwest rim of the irruptive.The property was acquired by purchase in 1935. In the same year a magnetometer survey along the footwall contact of the norite, which is covered by about 150 feet of glacial sands and clays, first indicated the location of the orebody. Drilling from 1935 to 1942 outlined the extent of the ore. Shaft sinking was commenced in the fall of 1951, and the mine is now approaching full production at a rate of about 300,000 tons per year.There are several major differences between the geology of the Levack area and the Falcon bridge area, which lies at the opposite extremity of the irruptive, 28 miles to the east. The purpose of this paper is to describe the essential features of the geology of the Levack area as seen in the Hardy mine, and to supplement the recent papers on other properties in the Sudbury area by Davidson (1), Lochhead (2), and Yates (3).General GeologyA recent review of the regional geology and an extensive bibliography of the Sudbury area can be found in the two papers by H. Sequential Net Acid Generation (NAG) accelerated oxidation testing using peroxide was carried out on single sulfide mineral samples. The calculation of the nett acid production potential (NAPP) assumes that all the sulfide is present as pyrite and that dissolution results in a 2:1 ratio of H+:SO42-. NAPP as kg H2SO4/t is calculated as 30.6 x wt.% S present. To test whether this calculation is valid a NAPP* value was defined in which instead of using the wt.% S present for the calculation the wt.% S dissolved is used. Stoichiometric analysis of the dissolution products of the sulfide minerals as they would occur at pH 7 indicates, that in all cases, the ratio of H+:SO42- of 2:1 is viable. The NAG to pH 7 and NAPP* closely coincided for pyrite, bornite, chalcocite and covellite. For the three Cu-containing minerals, the NAG to pH 4.5 value was 0 as is predicted on the basis of the speciation likely to be present at pH 4.5. Acid generation is due to hydroxylation of the dissolved Cu between pH 4.5 and 7.0. The NAG to pH 7 and NAPP* values for chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite were in reasonable agreement but were not for either sphalerite or galena. Zn is not completely hydroxylated at pH 7 as is assumed by the calculation. For galena, surface analysis identified polysulfide formation on of the leach residue polysulfide. The formation of polysulfide is an acid consuming reaction. Therefore under conditions of accelerated oxidation the NAPP value is a reasonable estimate of the possible acid production in all cases except for sphalerite and galena. However, under conditions of less intense oxidation, for instance in columns, waste rock and tailings dumps, the formation of polysulfides is likely to be more widespread thus reducing the correlation between NAPP and the maximum possible acid production.

Our present longwall problems in Cape Breton can be grouped under five main classifications. These are: (1) Roof control on the face and on the main roadways leading thereto. (2) Transportation of coal along face and levels. (3) Mechanical loading at the face. (4) Safe method of conducting and applying power at the working faces. (5) Dust nuisance. The usual layout for longwall operation in Cape Breton is to have three, and sometimes four, faces in line with each other, the length of face being from 400 feet to 500 feet (see Figure 1), and producing between 425 and 500 tons per face. Each wall is serviced by a well constructed roadway for transportation of coal, men, and materials, and is operated as an independent unit. Each wall works under a regular cycle of operations: first, cutting and boring; second, drawing hardwood chocks, building midwalls, and shifting panlines; and third, loading. The present method of roof control and operation of longwall faces has developed through trial and error since the commencement of longwall miring in Cape Breton. The basic method of roof control in all longwalls in Cape Breton is: rigid support of the roof in the immediate vicinity of the working faces by hardwood blocks, as shown in Figure 2, accompanied by a cushion support furnished by continuous midwalls, 12 feet wide, constructed of stone obtained from the waste and spaced at 50-foot centres. These midwalls are kept forward to within 4 feet to 10 feet of the working face and allow a gradual subsidence of overhead strata, thus preventing any sudden break at the working face.

IN THE operation of most mines, hoisting ropes, made of steel, play a very important part in the conveying of men and material between surface and the underground workings. It is obvious that, in order to maintain a maximum degree of safety, certain restrictions must be placed on the loads that may be carried by hoisting ropes, as well as on other factors that may affect the life of the rope. It is the purpose of this paper to suggest ?a new method of defining the necessary restrictions. The three main stresses in a hoisting rope are the static stress, bending stress, and dynamic stress. Crushing stresses, which are also present, are largely indeterminate and may best be allowed for by proper grooving of drum and sheaves, by adequate inspection of cross-over points, and by limiting the number of layers on the drum. They will, therefore, not be considered in this analysis. In the ?recent Ontario regulations, the limiting conditions for the main stresses are specified separately. The static stress is limited by setting a minimum static safety factor of 5.0 The dynamic stresses are allowed for by specifying a minimum capacity factor of 8.5, which has the effect of increasing the safety factor required at smaller depths in a uniform manner. The bending stresses are limited by calling for a drum-dia./rope-dia. ratio of at least 60 for ropes up to 1 inch in diameter and 80 for ropes greater than 1 inch in diameter. One disadvantage of this method is that the controls are too rigid and do not allow the operator sufficient freedom of action within safe limits.

"The one point left off the table was pumping costs, i.e. the cost of pumping to the cyclones.At East Malartic 5 x 5 S R L pumps that had been used to pump the classifier overflow were used to pump the rod and ball mill discharges to the cyclones. Maintenance costs on the pumps rose from $105 in 6 months to $1000 per month. The pumps had to be operated at 1150 rpm and impellers lasted only 5 to 6 days. These pumps were replaced by 6 x 6 S R. L. pumps operating at 825 rpm, but at this speed the coarser sands settled and plugged the pipe lines and the speed was increased to 925 rpm. The maintenance cost is now $100 per m::rnth which is 0 003 cents per ton milled. The impellers now last 1 month and the casing linings 6 months.Density meters are often used on cyclone overflows and sometimes on the cyclone feed. Haliburton weighted tube density meters are used in some plants. They are cheaper than the radioactive density controller, $2500 as compared to $ 6000The angle of the discharge spray from the apex can be used to judge the quality of perform1nce of a cyclone.For ordinary metallurgical applications the inside slope of the cyclone is not too important but for fine separation steeper slopes are used.The cyclone is a versatile tool and will handle considerable variations in feed tonnage - probably up to 15%. Above this variation the number of cyclones used has to be increased or decreased or the tonnage fed to them has to be adjusted"

"This paper could be more appropriately titled ""The Application of Vacuum Filters to Underground Minewater Treatment. in a previous paper co-authored by the writer (1) the history and development of minewater treatment at the Sudbury District Operations of the International Nickel Company was outlined. It is the intention of this paper to dwell more specifically WIth the the application of the vacuum filter to a problem found in most, if not all, underground mining operations. In the preparation of this paper the writer has made liberal use of the illustrations and text of the paper previously noted.Last year we heard Mr. Nemeth discuss the basic mechanisms involved in vacuum filtration (2), and today Yr. Cunliff has exposed us to the selection of the filter media (3). I will now briefly review the various vacuum filter designs that generally lend themselves to metallurgical dewatering applications.DRUM FILTERSThe revolving drum-type which filters on its outside periphery is illustrated in Fig. 1. This is the Oliver or Drum filter and represents the first commercially available continuous vacuum filter. The original design dates back more than 50 years, but with the exception of the method of discharge, is identical to the units being marketed today. This filter is generally applied to slow filtering slurries. The cake may be discharged in several ways; strings, scraper blades, rolls or by passing the filter cloth over a small diameter discharge roller (belt discharge).THE DORRCO FILTERThe revolving drum type which filters on its inside periphery is illustrated in Fig. 2. Here the slurry lies in the drum and the cake discharges through a chute or conveyor. This type of filter is most often applied to fast-filtering slurries.THE DISC FILTERThe revolving filter which filters on the vertical plane of the disc is referred to as the Disc or American-type filter. This represents the most inexpensive design in terms of cost per square foot of filter area. This filter is widely applied, but is probably more suitable for slower draining pulps."

"The mill at Noranda Mines Limited, Geco Division in Manitouwadge, Ontario went into production in 1957 treating 3,500 tons per day of copper, zinc, silver, lead ore. It was not until 1964, however, that the zinc concentrate drying plant was constructed. In 1970, milling capacity was increased from 4,000 to 5,000 tons per day. The zinc content of the ore is quite variable so that the tonnage of zinc concentrate dried varies from 200 to 650 tons per day.The drying plant was designed to dry 25 tons of zinc concentrate, dry basis, per hour from an initial moisture of 8.5% to a final moisture of 2%. Major components were selected so that capacity could be increased to 35 tons per hour with minor modifications.The rotary dryer is a Hardinge type ""XH-12"" with a diameter of 80"" and a length of 50 feet. The all welded construction shell is 1/2 inch thick mild steel plate with 3/4"" thick reinforcing bands under the tires arranged for operation at a slope of 1/2 inch to the foot. The 3/8"" x 12"" radial flights are welded to the shell. There are no flights in the last ten feet of the shell in order to reduce dusting. This unit is driven by a 50 HP motor through a Hamilton type CD250 double reduction helical gear speed reducer. The shell speed is 5.8 RPM.The standard Peabody horizontal air heater has a rated capacity of 10,000,000 B.T.U. 's/Hr. The combustion chamber is lined with high temperature refractory brick and is air cooled. The conical outlet section of the air heater is lined with insulating fire-brick. The burner is a type AT wide range mechanical atomizer fired by a type ""CR"" gas-electric ignitor.The Bunker ""C"" fuel is supplied by a Compower duplex pumping, heating and straining unit, including tank hotwell, Powertronic oil line heating system with a 550/24 volt transformer."

The market potential f or these advanced engineering alloys is substantial, and their impact on traditional zinc die casting alloy consumption is particuarly important. The ZA alloys, in offering increased performance through zinc castings produced at low cost and by a wide range of moulding processes, have unlocked a multitude of new end-use applications.Following a review of the development of ZA alloys, of their key properties and of their performance characteristics, the numerous challenges that the alloys present to the zinc industry and to the R&D community are discussed.IntroductionZinc is anodic to steel and has a low, uniform rat e of corrosion; it has a low melting point, can be cast with precision , and is readily finished. In addition to its use in protecting steel and in the production of a wide range of castings, zinc is employed : (1) to produce brass, high-strength aluminum alloys and magnesium die casting alloys, (2) in the wrought state for coinage and in building products, particularly as roofing materials , and (3) as an oxide, in the rubber industry, in ceramics, glass, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products and as the starting materials for many chemicals.Zinc die castings are produced with accuracy at high speed, at low cost, are easily finished and have excel1ent mechnical properties . Car fuel economy, changes in automobile styling, competition from other materials, increased sophistication of design and miniaturization have all led to a dramatic change in the volume of zinc consumed for die-casting applications. This has been particularly notable in the United States. Throughout the 19505 and the I960s, casting was the fastest growing major use of zinc; it was firmly established, accounting for 35% of the total zinc consumption(1), By 1983, the volume of zinc being purchased for casting applications had dropped to less than 20% of all zinc consumed in the United States. In the western world(2), consumption for zinc casting application s is currently at about 15%; being nearly equal to the zinc consumed by the brass industry. Coating applications dominate with a consumption of more than 40% of the total market."

THE Turner Valley gas-field, situated some thirty miles southwest of Calgary, Alberta, has been the topic of much discussion, particularly from a geological viewpoint. Several papers (1, 2, 3, 4, and 7) dealing with the structural and stratigraphical geology have already been published and are available for reference(l). In this article, the geological conditions will be treated only as they directly refer to the crude-oil prospects along the west flank of the anticline. HISTORY During the past twelve years, Turner Valley has been known mainly as a field which has produced a high-gravity naphtha from relatively large quantities of gas. For about ten years prior to the discovery of this naphtha-bearing gas, which is produced within the upper 450 feet of a dolomitic limestone of Carboniferous age, a minor production of light crude-oil was obtained from overlying sands of Cretaceous age. Up to June 1st of the present year, the field had produced 9,473,582 barrels of naphtha from approximately 829,000,000 M.c.f. of gas. For the past four years, the total daily production of 80 to 90 wells has averaged about 3,200 barrels of naphtha from 250,000 M.c.f. of gas. This is an average of 13 barrels per million cubic feet. The naphtha is extracted from the gas by ordinary gas-oil separators and absorption plants. After the naphtha has been recovered, about ten per cent of the gas is marketed for fuel to supply the cities of Calgary and lethbridge and intermediate cowns. Vulnerability is a measure of the extent to which a community, structure, services or geographic area is likely to be damaged or disrupted by the impact of particular hazard. Current asset management practices focuses on studying factors that affect performance of isolated infrastructure networks and model a set of actions to control the expected performance of these networks. This approach ignores the underlying spatial and functional interdependencies among these infrastructure networks and their vulnerability. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new method that recognizes the effect of spatial and functional interdependencies on vulnerability rating of water, sewer and road networks. The proposed method consists of: 1) risk assessment model, 2) interdependency assessment model and 3) vulnerability assessment model. The risk model is composed of two modules: 1) water and sewer risk module and 2) road infrastructure module. The water and sewer risk module will cluster these assets into three risk categories based on environmental, social, operational and economical factors. The road infrastructure module will cluster road assets into three risk categories by using rational factorial technique based on road type, serviceability index, traffic load, and freeze and thaw index. The interdependency model will deploy the risk ranking to perform geospatial analysis in ArcGIS which results in determining the interdependent layers of waters, sewers and roads. The vulnerability model will deploy fuzzy neural networks technique to determine the vulnerability rating based on spatial and functional interdependencies. The fuzzy neural networks are utilized to overcome the lack of historical data and incorporate experts? preferences for establishing the knowledge base for vulnerability assessment. The expected contribution of this framework is to aid decision makers in understanding the interdependencies between civil infrastructure assets and to which extent such interdependencies can compromise assets performance.

"Development of the unique Mine Games exhibition at Science World British Columbia is the largest ever collaboration of many interests to present the story of mining and the issues of mineral development delivered to the public by a science education centre.IntroductionMineral education programs have long been a major focus of the British Columbia mining community. Mine Games and its tremendous potential to enhance industries image and the public's awareness of mining is unequalled in the field of Issue Based Education Exhibits.The main goal of the exhibition is to look at the future of resource industries in a rapidly changing world of economic activities, new technologies, and growing public concern for the environment. Three challenges were the aim of the exhibition: to increase participation, to serve as a tool to increase interest in science and technology, and to draw an increasing number of school students to the interests of geology and the earth sciences. Mine Games is to serve as a meeting place for discussion of issues and where reliable information can be shared and new ideas explored.The exhibition is designed to develop new approaches to hands on learning that encourages visitors to explore and generate discussion and thinking with respect to resource development activities.The role of author, beginning in 1993, was, with senior industry leaders, to coordinate the raising of $1.3 million to complete the funding of the $1.6 million project total. The second and most interesting challenge was to work with the many minds that were collaborating to create the exhibition and to assure that the facts and science were correct. This involved the coordination of ""expert groups"" that verified the science and technology and the issues that the creative design team at Science World planned to use in development of each exhibit module."
